Thougths on blogging

I have been thinking about this blog thing for a couple of years now. My biggest concern has been linked to this lie the enemy has used against me in almost every thing I have done-from leading worship, to teaching a Bible study, to sharing what I am learning. Here I am in a new place to share what I am thinking and here he is taunting again. What I do know today is that he is a liar and it is God’s delight to hear my thoughts and as I live and learn about His dear Son you might find hope, encouragement, and promise in hearing what I have learned.

So as I venture forth into this blog writing I have read some really wonderful blogs and some that have been a waste of my time. I don’t want to waste your time nor mine, but the fear of not being a great blogger should not stop me from starting. So here goes!

There has been a word that has kept coming up in my mind as I think about ‘What do I have to say’ the word has become a word that often causes a riff in Christians but as I think about it -it is a great word for what I feel will happen as I begin this learning process of sharing on the world wide web.

EVOLUTION– Websters defines as: 1.-any process of formation or growth; gradual development. 2. developed gradually or worked out 3. not a sudden discovery.

So isn’t that a great word to describe my working out blogging?  What I write about today is not what I will write about tomorrow. I will work this out and just maybe one day this will be a place for you to come and find something worth reading. My prayer is that as I learn to listen and write what rises in my heart and relationship with the Father, His Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit is that it will evolve into something that will bring Him glory and encourage you to respond to Christ Jesus invitation to  ’Come follow Me’.

Thanks for letting me evolve
